FRP Crossflow Cooling Towers
FRP crossflow cooling towers with gravity hot-water basins, low pumping head and easy access to fill and distribution for routine maintenance.
See specificationsOur FRP counterflow cooling towers move air vertically upward against the falling water, giving the most efficient heat transfer per square metre of plan area. Each tower is built as square or rectangular modules with a corrosion-proof FRP casing, PVC film fill and a top-mounted induced draft fan. Thermal sizing is done by our in-house design team for your flow, range, approach and site wet-bulb, and cells can be added side by side as your plant grows.
Fill depth, air flow and fan selection are calculated for your circulating flow, hot and cold water temperatures and the design wet-bulb at site, not picked from a catalogue.
UV-stabilised FRP casing, basin and fan stack resist rust, chemical attack and coastal atmospheres, keeping maintenance low over a long service life.
Factory-built cells are shipped as panels or sub-assemblies and bolted together on site; additional cells can be added later for capacity expansion.
High-efficiency drift eliminators and a pressurised spray distribution system keep water loss and surrounding wetting to a minimum.
Compact square towers for HVAC, small process and DG set cooling loads where space is tight.
In-line cells with a common or individual basin for larger process plants and staged operation.
Low-speed fans, larger diameter blades and attenuation options for hospitals, hotels and residential neighbourhoods.
Splash or low-clog film fill and wide-orifice nozzles for water with higher suspended solids.
| Configuration | Induced draft, counterflow, square or rectangular cells |
|---|---|
| Capacity | Designed to your duty; single cells and multi-cell arrays on request |
| Design wet-bulb | Typically 24 to 31 °C, selected for your site climate |
| Approach | Typically 3 to 6 °C, as per process requirement |
| Fill type | PVC film fill; splash or low-clog fill on request |
| Drive | Direct drive or gearbox driven axial fan with TEFC motor |
| Inspection | Third-party inspection and witness of shop checks welcome |
Counterflow towers achieve a closer approach in a smaller plan area, so they suit sites where space is limited and cold-water temperature matters. Crossflow towers trade a larger footprint for easier access to the distribution basins and lower pumping head.
Yes. Modules are designed to break down into panels and sub-assemblies that pack into standard containers, with export packing, part marking and erection drawings so local crews can assemble them at site.
Circulating water flow, hot and cold water temperatures, design wet-bulb temperature at site, available plot area, water quality and power supply details. If some data is missing, our design team can help you establish it from your process and local climate data.
Yes. We supply cooling towers, spares and service to clients across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. Towers are designed for the site climate, broken down into container-friendly modules where possible, export-packed and shipped to any port worldwide with erection drawings and documentation.
Yes. Third-party and client inspection is welcome at our factories in Coimbatore, including material checks, dimensional inspection, fan balancing records and pre-dispatch inspection, as agreed in the inspection and test plan.
We provide erection drawings and manuals with every supply, and our engineers can supervise erection and commissioning in India and overseas on request, or support your local contractor remotely.
