ASME 'U' Stamp Authorisation – Unit I
Permits us to design and fabricate pressure vessels, heat exchangers included, under ASME Section VIII Division 1. This certificate covers the SIDCO Industrial Estate plant (Unit I) in Coimbatore.
What this certificate tells you
A U stamp on a nameplate signals that the vessel's design, fabrication, inspection and testing all followed ASME Section VIII Division 1, with an independent Authorized Inspector verifying each stage. Since our shell and tube exchangers, condensers and many other products count as pressure vessels, this is usually the first certificate international purchasers request.
